SiGNS of LiFE
These shapes carry the DNA of my materials into new forms: artifacts of what exists built to envision what is possible. Leaves of hope. Seeds of Transformation with ever changing possibilities for exhibition, exploration and community engagement on location. Stacked. Strewn. Flocking. Floating. Radically simple with endless potential. They are individual expressions in shared geometries for engaging the collective social imagination.
The process and materials endow them with significance and relationship to a larger narrative. They are made. Not manufactured. They are all original. Not clones. The first shapes came in 2019 from pieces of my TREE of Life quilt series and I expanded this practice during the pandemic.
