My work builds common ground between disconnected pieces to connect color and pattern across period and place. Textiles and manufactured materials become portals through time, and memory, carrying our past into the future in slow motion graffitis of color, symbol and texture.

My series and community projects - SiGNS of LiFE, BEYOND RED WHiTE and BLUE, and The HEXAGON PROJECT - explore universal themes showcasing individual expressions in shared geometries.

My quilts are never square. They grow organically, shaped by the elements of time and experience to become new and living pieces of history as they are collected and enjoyed.
